| D'Addario uses a color coding system that is easier on the eyes of we "plus 40" guys and gals. In the second image below, you'll see a picture of the color code. It makes things much easier. I can see the difference between the two E strings normally, but the others...well..I'm just glad I have this cool color code to use. But, seriously, if you need a new set of strings, these XL's are very high-quality, and provide a consistant sound that you can build your own sound around. The last very well too!
